    1. What types of pain can be treated?

      High Power Laser Therapy is very effective at eliminating pain and inflammation caused by numerous conditions. Whether you have an acute injury from a weekend activity or have been suffering with chronic pain for years, chances are High Power Laser Therapy will work for you. High Power Laser Therapy is FDA approved and proven through hundreds of clinical studies to be effective at eliminating pain.     2. Does my insurance cover High Power Laser Therapy?

      Unfortunately, Insurance does not cover Laser Therapy at this time. The pharmaceutical lobby has been effective at preventing effective alternative treatments, like High Power Laser Therapy, from gaining insurance coverage.

    3. Do you offer Treatment discounts?

      Yes! We offer several packages designed around numerous conditions requiring multiple treatments to garner effective results. From a discounted option of three individual treatments for treating a recently tweaked, minor back injury to a more heavily discounted package of twelve treatments, often required for chronic pain conditions that have been ongoing for years. 

    4. What should I wear for treatments?

      High Power Laser Therapy needs to be given directly over skin, so please wear loose fitting clothing that will allow for easy access to your treatment area. Also, please do not wear lotion, creams or perfumes as these can cause damage to the laser treatment hand piece.

    5. How do I make payments?

      We accept payment via check, cash, or a major credit card. Apple Pay is preferred.

    6. If I purchase a treatment package, will it expire?

      If you purchase a discounted treatment package directly from Pain Free Michigan, Inc., your unused treatment sessions will expire two years from the date of purchase.

    7. Do you offer services besides High Power Laser Therapy?

      At this time, we offer High Power Laser Therapy for the control and elimination of pain and inflammation. Please check back with our website periodically to see if we have expanded what we can do with our laser…hint, hint!

    8. How do I make an appointment?

      Scheduling your own appointment has never been easier! Simply call us at (231) 943-2007, email us at painfreemichigan@charter.net or press the “schedule an appointment”  button on our website.

    9. How often can I get a treatment?

      While you can not “overdose” on a laser treatment, it is beneficial to spread out the treatments. If you have a severe, chronic issue, you can receive two treatments in one calendar day, but most patients will do well scheduling treatments a few days apart.

    10. What is your community involvement?

      As a center that specializes in pain relief without the use of drugs or needles, we feel strongly about helping people avoid the dangers of opioid pain killers and with that goal in mind, we are currently seeking a local partner engaged in fighting the pain killer addiction epidemic that is plaguing Northern Michigan.
